Accessibility statement
This English version is for convenience. The Dutch version is the legally authoritative text. Toegankelijkheidsverklaring
In short
- We want everyone to use our services and site, including with assistive technology.
- The site uses semantic HTML, keyboard navigation and sufficient contrast where possible.
- The physical studio has stairs; directions are on contact.
- Send feedback to [email protected]; we reply within 1 business day.
1. Scope
This statement applies to the website monoxyleorix.digital (Dutch and English) operated by Monoxyleorix B.V. in Amsterdam. It covers information about our recording studio, services, rates and contact — not third-party client portals or streaming platforms.
European accessibility rules require certain digital services to be accessible. As a small business we aim for Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA on our public pages.
2. Our approach
When designing and updating pages we check for:
- a clear page title and logical heading structure;
- text alternatives for meaningful images;
- sufficient colour contrast for text and buttons;
- keyboard operation and visible focus;
- form labels linked to fields on contact;
- a cookie banner operable by keyboard and screen readers.
We avoid auto-playing audio on the site. Session conditions in the studio differ; see below.
3. Known limitations
Website: Some decorative images on the home page carry no extra description; content images have alt text. Map links to OpenStreetMap open an external site with its own accessibility. We do not routinely publish PDFs via the site.
Studio: Our address at Grote Bickersstraat 74 is reachable by public transport (directions). There is no private parking on site. Inside the studio there are level changes and narrow corridors; tell us in advance if you use a wheelchair, walker or other aids so we can discuss session layout.
Language: Legal pages such as privacy policy and terms and conditions are authoritative in Dutch; English versions are for information.
4. Feedback and enforcement
If you hit an accessibility barrier on the site or need documents in another format, email [email protected] or call 020 244 8916. Include the page URL and what goes wrong; we reply within 1 business day and aim for a reasonable fix.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact a consumer or market authority in the Netherlands; we do not name a specific body unless legally required.
